Training Center
ImprovOlympic's
Training Center program teaches improvisation as a
performance art. Our classes teach you the skills
to create fresh, imaginative, and personal theater
that inspires awe as well as laughter.
The
Classes
Level
1 teaches the basics of the ImprovOlympic
style of improvisation.
Level 2 focuses on you as a performer,
allowing you to discover your strengths while developing
characters and teamwork.

allowing you to discover your strengths while developing
characters and teamwork.
Level 4 teaches The Harold, the signature
form of the ImprovOlympic.
Level 5 is a Master Class, experimenting
and exploring the boundaries of improvisation.
The Performance Class (formerly Level
5B) allows students use their improvisational skills
to create an original long form show. Master Performance
Class shows run in the ImprovOlympic's Del Close Theater
for six to eight weeks after the class.

Details
Each
ImprovOlympic class runs for eight weeks, meeting
once a week for three hours. Tuition for all classes
is $225. Various workshops and elective courses are
also occasionally offered as opportunities to supplement
your education. Recent offerings have included Sketch
Writing, Musical Improvisation, Performance Forms,
and Advanced Scene Techniques.
