NEW
STUDENTS!
Thank you for your interest in ImprovOlympic classes.
We’re getting ready for our 2003 session. Classes
for this session would begin March 9th.
Each class meets once a week for three hours for eight
weeks.
We
are proud to offer for the first time, two "non-linear"
classes:
Intro to Improv and Improvisation
for the Actor.
Intro to Improv is designed for people with no theatrical
or improvisational experience whatsoever. It’s
a fast, fun program for beginners!
Improvisation for the Actor is designed for professionals
who wish to learn the ImprovOlympic style of long-form
improvisation and apply it to their stagecraft.
Please consult with Director of the Training Center,
Jason R. Chin, to see what class is best for you.
Our "level-ed" classes are for those people
who wish to learn the whole process of long-form improvisation,
the Harold (ImprovOlympic’s signature long-form
structure) and wish to be considered for one of our
performance teams. You can consult with me to see
where it’s best for you to start.
Here are the available days and times:
LEVEL 1
Sundays @ 12 noon
Sundays @ 3pm
Sundays @ 7pm
Monday @ 7pm
Wednesdays @ 7pm
Thursdays @ 7pm
Saturdays @ 12pm
The cost for each level of study here at ImprovOlympic
is only $225 and there are six levels (which culminate
in a "graduate" show in our theater!) Some
where along the line of your studies here your teacher
may recommend you for one of our performing teams
so you'll get the additional benefit of learning/performing
in front of paying audiences!
We recommend you see a few of our shows before signing
up for classes; we have free shows on Wednesday nights
at 8pm!
For more information, please call Director of the
Training Center, Jason R. Chin, at 773-880-9993.
For
the classes listed above you may register over the
phone.
